With millions of photos flying up to Facebook on a daily basis, there’s an interesting new app called LifeBlinx that promises to transform your Facebook photo collection into a good old fashion scrapbook.
The app connects to your Facebook accounts and pulls your photos into a scrapbook template. You can choose which photos, comments and statuses go into the final book and the app will arrange those items in chronological order in the book. You’ll get a preview PDF to review before you buy.
You can choose from 24 page hardcover book for $30, a 24 page softcover book for $20. You can add extra pages to each for $0.50 per page. The book is turned around in about two weeks after you place your order.
This is somewhat similar to DHL’s “Social Memories” service in that it gives you a quick way to transform your Facebook images into tangible, long-lasting photo books. The big difference between the two services appears to be that DHL’s provides other data about your online usage whereas Life Blinx has more attractive layouts and more of a photo-only focus.
