Kodak, which historically pioneered personal photography and employs almost 20,000 people, closed at an all time low, and “is now worth $468m, or $330m less than 50-person, profitless Tumblr.”
This is somewhat ridiculous given, as the quote indicates, Tumblr is not a profitable company and relies on venture capital funding to pay the bills and Kodak, for all its troubles, generates revenue. Nevertheless, the markets are speaking.
